About Us

Growing up in a CTID blue family was a football rollercoaster of emotions. Watching games provided quality family time, win, lose or draw. I have great memories such as driving down to Wembley for the 1999 Play Off match against Gillingham (it was tradition to stay to the end of any game whatever the score and it certainly paid off that day) or sharing Quality Street with fellow season ticket holders at Boxing Day games. 

Having worked in the textile industry all my career I have always taken pride in designing, sourcing and selling quality products.

In just over a decade of supporting Wolves it feels like I’ve seen it all with 3 relegations and 3 promotions. There have been some players that live long in the memory (my personal favourite being George Elokobi). I’ve been to Stevenage on a Tuesday night and to Espanyol in the Europa League! My favourite game of all time has to be Cardiff away where Wolves near enough cemented their Championship winners title after winning 0-1, but conceding 2 injury time penalties.

I’m very happy to be able to put all my passion and pride for football into hats that are fashionable and capture those incredible moments we will forever cherish. 

The “Subs Bench” brand must always resonate quality to our customers. The bobbles are made from 100% Pure New Wool, a naturally bio-degradable and sustainable material. The pandemic and Brexit brought us closer to our manufacturing base in the UK and we have continued to source locally. Sustainable, made in the UK from 2020, symbolic and fashionably designed we hope the fans and all will enjoy our warm woollen bobbles.
